In this Lathe DRO Kit, we have equipped the KA500 series linear encoder on the cross slide, because usually there is not enough space to install a standard KA300 linear scale, on the Z axis however, we have equipped KA300, the standard-size linear encoders, which is available from 70mm/3 inches  to 1020mm /40 inches , and with a strong structure, KA300 linear scale works very well on the Z axis of our lathes.

For DRO, the 2-axis SDS6-2V has so many functions for lathe operations, for example, you can use one finger touch to convert from diameter to radius, half the value easily, etc.

We know you sometimes need to pick 1μm resolution instead of 5 μm, so like in our mill DRO kit, we have also added that option for you to select your desired resolution.
